FREAKY left me a message telling me to hurry up and get a camera. So um... I DID THAT!!!! My friend bought me a BEAUTIFUL camera. (thank you sweetie!! ) I feel you Freaky... I miss seeing myself plastered all over my blog too... TRUST and believe as SOON as it is charged and I figure out how to work it- it is ON!
The Sangindiva has been FULLY enjoying her summer. This is the first time in a few years that I didn't spend my summer in Europe. I decided to stay stateside because the world has just got too much going on right now. I ain't no fool! hahahaha!
Anyway, I have been vacationin' like CRAZY- visiting friends and family I haven't seen, lunchin' with mah girls, big pimpin' da boyz and lookin' fabulous the whole time! :)
I've been in the studio working with different hip-hop artists on various projects, PARTYIN' HARD (whooooo!), seeing what it do in Canada, (SHOUT out to Mz. JJ and Mocha) Missin' Glam in Hawaii (I had to throw that in- I MISS U GURL!) and of course Thanking God for blessing me to live the life I'm living, God is GOOD! :)
I'm on my way to Miami for a show, Then I'm gonna hook up with Crazy ZED in Satans Anus... (Detroit) He has already informed my picture happy azz that there can be NO pics of him on my blog... (he's wanted...shhh) That means is MORE pics of me! hahahaha! AND he said "he gone buy me some SKRIMPS!!"

I was sitting at home bored, when I found an old VHS tape of one of my favorite movies- LOVE JONES. A throwback from 1997.
Now for those of you who know me (for real) you already know about the Sangindiva's T.V. situation... for those of you who don't here's some background-
* I don't really like or watch t.v. * I only have one in my house * It's 13 inches * It has a VCR at the bottom * It has a wire hanger for an antenna * If I didn't have a laptop I couldn't watch DVD's *I DON'T HAVE CABLE* not even basic... (see, if I had my camera I could have taken a picture!) :(
Now do you see why the tape seemed so appealing?
I proceeded to pop in the movie AND cracked open a bottle of Chenin Blanc... (I must say my buzz was sufficiently ON!)
As I watched the movie, (and put a DENT in the white wine)
Wass up family? I have not been wanting to blog because my digital camera is broken :(
I'm really pissed off about this.
I had become so accustomed to living my life through my camera, being without it is not the same.
Why haven't I just gone out and bought a new one you ask? Well... I have been SUPER busy, but that's not the MAIN reason.
The main reason is:
I don't know what to buy! I'm the type of person that researches EVERYTHING- especially before I make a decision. Don't let the smooth taste fool you- The Sangindiva is a GEEK. As in nerd. shhh. don't tell.
I want to make sure I take my time to find the one I really like. I got the broken one from Japan about 3 years ago- but I didn't research it like I should have, I just wanted a camera.
Do you guys have any suggestions?
I'd like the shutter speed to be fast, my last camera was suuuuper slow :( It took 3 WHOLE seconds to snap the picture- I can't have that anymore!
ANYWAY...
Last night I sang at this restaurant/lounge called Hal's in Venice. It's a really nice and elegant spot. On most Sunday and Monday nights they have different bands there. It's mostly an instrumental smooth jazz spot, but when I roll through- I sang... :) The show went very well.
Julia Roberts was there... I wonder does that technically mean I sang to her? I mean, she was in the audience hahaha!
We all know the Sangindiva wants a new camera... (and some money) :)
